new │ We believe that God loves the Tri-Cities and greater Bay Area and we are convinced that the single most effective way to communicate God’s love to our neighbors is by starting new churches that faithfully proclaim and live out the gospel with humility and courage.
gospel-centered │ We believe that the Gospel does not just exist to help us come to Jesus, but to also help us stay and grow in Jesus. We acknowledge that it takes a proactive commitment to be keep the Gospel central. We never want to take the Gospel for granted. We strive to simply and clearly communicate the Gospel in every Sunday worship service and every Bible Study.
a place for skeptics │ We remember what it was like to figure out what we believe and we are committed to providing a safe place for you to explore the Christian faith. We will not use gimmicks to manipulate you or guilt to bully you. We invite your questions and offer friendship with no strings attached.
a place for growing but struggling believers to find renewal │ We believe the power for renewal comes from discovering that we are worse than we thought but more loved in Christ than we ever imagined. We are not interested in perpetuating the guilt, expectations, and demands of religion. We are committed to creating a safe place for Christians to be honest with one another about their struggles and help one another find real hope and joy in Christ.
a place with heritage │ We believe that it is as misguided to reject tradition in order to be relevant as it is to reject relevance in order to be traditional. We strive to be authentic to our heritage and relevant to our times. We belong to a living tradition and we embrace the historic Christian faith while articulating our ancient hope to our own generation in new ways.
missional │ The church always seems to do better as the underdog than it does in the seat of power. We believe that the unique challenges of living in a post-Christian culture present some of the greatest opportunities to faithfully and generously share Christ with our neighbors that we’ve seen in church history. We are committed to be a church not only for ourselves but for others both near and far.
